The 4th edition of the Green Shift Festival will take place from 9 to 11 April 2026 at the Yacht Club de Monaco and other venues in the Principality. Free and open to all, the festival will feature a vibrant program of musical performances, workshops, children’s events, happy hours and much more. Over 30 speakers, instructors, and performers have also been invited to inspire the public “to explore new ways of imagining ecological futures”.
Organized by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, the event begins on Thursday 9 April at 8am with a creative writing workshop. Continuing over three full days, artists, researchers, architects and committed athletes will share perspectives on storytelling and environmental engagement.
Saturday’s program will begin with “introduction to sound healing” with Olla Vibe. The event will combine vocal performance, crystal singing bowls and breath work within an immersive sound session.
“It is neither a traditional concert nor therapy in the clinical sense, but rather a contemporary form of sound performance in which the voice becomes an instrument of presence, regulation and inner focus,” says the Green Shift Festival.
Two performances of a children’s show titled “The Guardians of the Coral Reef” are also on the program. Featuring knitted puppets, the show will tell a fun and inspiring story about friendship, the beauty and diversity of ocean life, and the protection of the marine world.
The festival will also feature a bicycle repair workshop, a parent-child workshop about creating art with milk-based bioplastic, yoga, a “climate workout” and a guided tour of “The Sense of Nature” exhibition at Villa Paloma.

Happy Hours
Every evening during the festival at 6pm, there will be a happy hour featuring different performances and activities. On the festival’s opening day, the happy hour will feature music by the International School of Monaco choir. After happy hour, at 8:30pm, the Bookinerie de Monaco bookshop space will host book signings with the speakers, along with book sales.
Exhibitions
Throughout the festival, various works of art will be displayed across the festival’s venues. In the festival zone, selected extracts from “Les Mots qu’il nous faut,” the “lumiluttant” dictionary by Jeanne Hénin will be on display as well as drawings by architect Jacques Rougerie on large-format sail fabrics.
On the Quai Louis II, a selection of projects from the Jacques Rougerie Foundation’s International Innovation and Architecture Competition will be displayed. And on the Lucciana Jetty, “Healing Flags”, an artistic installation created by the Aleksandr Savchuk Cancer Charity Association, in collaboration with the Pavillon Bosio, artist and researcher Olga Kisseleva, and students from the International School of Monaco will be exhibited.

Closing concert by Bobbie
The festival will close with a concert by singer-songwriter Bobbie, whose music is inspired by artists like Joni Mitchell and Dolly Parton. The singer grew up near Paris but fell in love with American folk and soul. Her debut album, released in 2024, was selected among the 40 best albums of the year for the Prix Joséphine.
