Guillaume Ranvier has officially become the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo’s new General Manager. He officially took up his duties on 5 January 2026, after arriving directly from the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, where he held the position of Hotel Manager.

Ranvier is succeeding Louis Starck, who was appointed General Manager of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo at the end of September.

Graduating at the top of his class from the École Supérieure de Cuisine Française in Paris, Guillaume Ranvier spent over ten years with the Hyatt Hotels Group in key positions, both in France and internationally.

Currently undergoing renovations

The Hôtel Hermitage in the midst of big changes. It will unveil new suites in June, as well as a brand-new lobby bar, Bar Gustave, located beneath the Eiffel dome in the heart of the Winter Garden.

Ranvier began his career at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme as Director of Food & Beverage, before becoming Director of Rooms, then Director of Operations, notably contributing to the complete renovation of the Parisian hotel. He then moved to Doha, supporting the opening of a Park Hyatt in the Middle East as Director of Operations.

Following the health crisis, he joined the French Riviera, becoming Hotel Manager of the Martinez in Cannes, where he oversaw the first post-Covid season, marked by major operational reorganization. He was then appointed General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée and successfully led the restaurant’s renovation, launched a repositioning project, and even achieved record revenue in 2022. Since 2023, Guillaume Ranvier has served as Hotel Manager of the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris.

With its Belle Époque façade and breathtaking view of the Mediterranean, the Hôtel Hermitage has been hailed as “an architectural gem”. Prominent figures who have frequented the hotel include Marcel Pagnol, Francis Bacon, Josephine Baker, Maria Callas, and Aristotle Onasis.
