The International School of Monaco (ISM) is thrilled to announce its upcoming education conference, “Innovate • Share • Empower”, taking place January 9–10, 2026 at ISM. This two-day event will bring together top educators from around the world, with educators from 100 international schools across 24 countries joining to explore the latest trends, strategies, and innovations in education.
Organised by the ISM Deputy Director Academic Ms. Abigail Furey, alongside a committee of staff and teachers, the conference invites passionate teachers and school leaders to connect, share ideas, and reimagine the future of teaching and learning. Rooted in ISM’s values of academic excellence, inclusivity, and global mindedness, the event will provide inspiring conversations, practical strategies, and meaningful connections for teachers and leaders alike.

Keynote Speakers:
Kimberley Wilson – Mental Health Expert, Author, TV Psychologist
Kimberley Wilson is a chartered psychologist and author of How to Build a Healthy Brain and Unprocessed: How the Food We Eat Is Fuelling Our Mental Health Crisis. She champions a holistic approach to mental health, integrating nutrition, lifestyle, and psychological therapy. Kimberley is a former governor of the Tavistock and Portman Mental Health Trust and regularly appears on BBC and Channel 4.
Dr Eowyn Crisfield – Expert in Multilingual Education
Dr Crisfield specialises in languages across the curriculum, EAL/ELL, bilingual and immersion education, and translanguaging. She is the founder of the Oxford Collaborative for Multilingualism in Education and focuses on equal access to learning for all students. She is the author of Bilingual Families: A Practical Language Planning Guide and co-author of Linguistic and Cultural Innovation in Schools: The Languages Challenge.
James Nottingham – Creator of the Learning Pit
James Nottingham is the creator of the Learning Pit, one of the most widely used teaching models of the last 20 years. He has worked closely with Carol Dweck and John Hattie and has led award-winning projects to improve learning outcomes worldwide. His latest book, Teach Brilliantly, was released in 2024.
Kate Jones – Evidence-Based Education Specialist
Kate Jones is a bestselling author, international speaker, and Senior Associate for Teaching and Learning at Evidence Based Education. She is known for translating research into practical classroom strategies, particularly in retrieval practice, feedback, and cognitive science. Kate has written over ten books and continues to inspire teachers worldwide through her writing and workshops.
