Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene attend “Monaco Under the Stars” Charity Show
Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, as well as Princess Stephanie and Camille Gottlieb, attended the Christmas show Monaco Under the Stars at the big top in Fontvieille on 22 December. Held under the patronage of Princess Charlene, all proceeds from the show were donated to the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and the Monaco SPA Animal Shelter.
The original production, directed by Hassan El Hajjami, blended contemporary performance and hip-hop dance in front of an audience of all different ages. The story was about a boy named Elliott who, guided by a mysterious music box, embarks on a magical journey through time.
100 Years ago, Princess Charlotte inaugurated the First Monaco Dog Show
A love of dogs seems to run deep in the Grimaldi family. On May 24, 1904, the Principality’s official journal reported the triumphant return of Hereditary Prince Louis II, with a gold medal for his bulldog Rufus and a silver medal for his Dalmatian Athos, from Parisian dog shows. His daughter, Princess Charlotte, inherited her father’s passion and founded the Monaco Canine Society and chose the Pigeon Shooting Range, located beneath the Casino Terraces, to host the first Dog Show. Princess Charlotte, Prince Pierre, and their children Princess Antoinette and Prince Rainier, inaugurated the first Dog Show in Monaco in 1927.
Princess Charlotte’s daughter, Princess Antoinette, later became head of the Kennel Club when her mother’s passed away in 1950 and personally presented the trophies to the winners. Princess Antoinette presided over the Canine Society for over six decades, until she passed away in 2011. Her daughter, Baroness Elizabeth-Ann de Massy, then took over before passing the torch to Mélanie-Antoinette de Massy in 2020. Four generations of women have made the show what it is today: a highly successful international event. The most recent Monaco Dog Show broke all previous records when it featured 1,430 dogs representing 29 countries.
Pierre Casiraghi accepts “Sailor of the Year” Trophy at the Yacht Club de Monaco
During the Yacht Club’s traditional winter cocktail event, Pierre Casiraghi received the Sailor of the Year 2025 trophy from Prince Albert II. He shared the distinction with his wife, Beatrice Borromeo, who was also in attendance. The year 2025 marked a historic achievement for the YCM, who’s team won the Admiral’s Cup for the first time. Pierre Casiraghi was part of the winning crew.
Also in attendance was Prince Charles of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, his wife, Princess Camilla, and their two daughters, Princess Maria Carolina and Princess Maria Chiara. Prince Charles received an award recognizing his second-place finish at the 2025 Smeralda Championship.
Camille Gottlieb speaks about Princess Grace with Tatler Magazine
Just a few hours before the Festival des Etoilés, Camille Gottlieb gave an exclusive interview to Tatler magazine in a suite at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel, while she was getting her hair done. In the article, Tatler calls Camille Gottlieb a “a cool chick, a joker, the kind of woman you feel could be your friend.” Princess Stephanie’s daughter is often compared to Princess Grace, and Camille Gottlieb revealed that it’s an honour to be compared to her grandmother. Although Camille didn’t know her, she said that Princess Grace inspires her, not because she was an incredibly beautiful princess, but because she was just as magnificent within.
Camille often pays homage to Grace Kelly. At the last Red Cross Gala, she wore Cartier diamonds and a gown inspired Grace Kelly’s outfit in Hitchcock’s Rear Window. In the interview, Camille Gottlieb said that it’s so important for her to pay homage to Princess Grace in any way she can and that her mom, Princess Stephanie, always taught her and her siblings to try and uphold Kelly’s values, opinions and elegance.
