Express bus lines X1, X2 and X3 will follow altered routes due to increased passenger demand, while line X4 will be discontinued. The expansion will significantly improve access from the Salines car park to two of the Principality’s main transport hubs.
A small clarification regarding the X1 line: on the return route towards the Jardin Exotique and the Salines car park, passengers will need to board the bus at the Place d’Armes stop located on the side of the Monte-Carlo Bar restaurant.
Service on express bus X4 will be suspended due to low passenger numbers. Residents and visitors are encouraged to use route X3, which will resume operation along most of its previous route, except for the Saint-Roman stop.
The new X3 route will now serve Albert II, Fontvieille Port or Fontvieille – Shopping Centre (depending on direction), Place d’Armes (depending on direction), Princesse Antoinette or Place Sainte-Dévote (depending on direction), Portier, and Larvotto.
From Monday, service frequency has also increased: the bus now runs every 14 minutes instead of every 20. The changes came into effect on 28 July.
