The Grimaldi Forum Monaco named Best Overseas Convention Centre at the 2025 M&IT Awards!

On September 19, the Grimaldi Forum was awarded the Gold Prize in the category “Best Overseas Convention Centre” at the M&IT Awards ceremony in London, hosted by M&IT Magazine, one of the United Kingdom’s most influential MICE publications.

This prestigious recognition once again underlines the Grimaldi Forum’s excellence in hosting and organising international events. It also comes at a symbolic moment: the year of its 25th anniversary and the inauguration of its building extension, a milestone in its development.

A recognition among Europe’s finest

Grimaldi Forum Monaco claimed the top spot, ahead of some of Europe’s most prestigious venues:

Silver : CCIB – Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona (Spain)

Bronze : PortAventura Convention Centre (Spain)

Other finalists: Dublin and Amsterdam, two major references in the sector.

This marks the Grimaldi Forum’s 20th M&IT Award since 2003, including nine Gold Prizes, a triumphant return to the top of the podium, last held in 2011.

A collective victory for Destination Monaco

This success reflects the strength of Monaco as a whole:

The Monaco Convention Bureau also won Gold in its category.

The Monegasque DMC Raising Stones Events was awarded Silver.

About the Grimaldi Forum Monaco

The Grimaldi Forum offers 41,000 m² of modular spaces for conferences, conventions, trade shows, exhibitions, concerts, and performances, hosting on average 100 events and 300,000 visitors per year. Renowned for the quality of its facilities and the expertise of its teams, it was among the first convention centres to be awarded ISO 14001 certification (2008) and ISO 20121 certification (2023).

In 2024, the venue expanded its exhibition capacity by 50%, with an additional 6,000 m² of indoor space and 2,000 m² of new outdoor areas.
