Giant Christmas tree, Snow globes, and Santa himself on Casino Square

The SBM’s theme this year is “The Magic of Christmas in Monte-Carlo,” which will be explored with five new scenes in giant snow globes, back for one last time on Casino Square. The snow globes will surround the traditional Christmas tree, which will stand over 20 metres tall. The snow globes are titled: The Enchanted Ballet, The Christmas Choir, The Reindeer’s Tea Party, The Christmas Sky, and Midnight, and will all be set to classic Christmas tunes.

“Children will have the chance to follow the adventures of five adorable reindeer: Snowflake, Rose, Hercules, Stella, and Rudolph, Santa’s faithful companion,” says the SBM.

Santa himself will be making an appearance on Casino Square with a traditional choir on December 20, 21, 24, and 25, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. On the façade of the Monte-Carlo Casino, a sound and light show featuring reindeers will take place every 30 minutes, between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. each weekend in December, and then daily during the school holidays.

The SBM hotels will be decorated thanks to exclusive collaborations with prestigious brands. The Chopard Christmas tree in the lobby of the Hôtel de Paris Monte Carlo, the Marco Traverso Christmas tree at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, and the music boxes in the lobby of the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort would all make great photo backgrounds.
