Monaco’s 16th annual “1 Birth = 1 Tree” ceremony took place at Princess Antoinette Park on 30 April. The ceremony was attended by Mayor Georges Marsan, several government councillors, and families who had a newborn in 2024.

This year, 721 trees, corresponding to the same number of births recorded in Monaco in 2024, were planted in the Pali state forest. This brings the total number of trees planted since the start of the operation to 15,000, and majorly contributes to the reforestation of the surrounding areas of the Principality.
