Organized by the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, the event dedicated to bicycle road safety and the promotion of sustainable mobility took place on the Larvotto Beach Esplanade.

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene took part in the second edition of Road Safety Day on Sunday 29 March 2026. Organized by the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, the event dedicated to bicycle road safety and the promotion of sustainable mobility took place on the Larvotto Beach Esplanade.

Prince Albert II took part in the smoothie bike challenge, using pedal-power to operate a blender. Princess Charlene officially launched the Monabike challenge, which brought together six teams made up of personalities and representatives of Monegasque institutions. Attendees included content creator GMK, Princess Charlene’s brother, Gareth Wittstock and his daughter, Bodie.

Prince Albert II accredits Five New Ambassadors to the Prince’s Palace

Five diplomats were received by the Sovereign at the Princely Palace to officially begin their mission in Monaco on Thursday 2 April. Representing Benin, Estonia, Kuwait, Norway and Hungary, each ambassador presented their credentials to Prince Albert II to formalize their accreditation. The Ambassadors are Corinne Brunet (Benin), Viljar Lubi (Estonia), Abdullah Suleiman Alshaheen (Kuwait), Vegar Sundsbó Brynildsen (Norway), and Miklós Erik Tromler (Hungary). They were then received by Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Government Counsellor-Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation at a luncheon at the Hôtel Hermitage.

Prince Albert II participates in “ChangeNow” in Paris

Prince Albert II and a team from his Foundation attended the ChangeNow trade fair from 30 March to 1 April. The Sovereign spoke at the “Polar Oceans: Sentinels of a Changing Climate” conference on 30 March. The fair champions innovative solutions for a more sustainable world.

“Seven of the nine planetary boundaries that sustain civilization have now been crossed,” said Prince Albert II during his speech, “the Potsdam Institute confirmed in September that ocean acidification has become the seventh. Two boundaries remain…If this were a medical report, we would be in intensive care….Don’t wait for authorization. Don’t wait for consensus. Build it. Finance it. Deploy it on a large scale. The planet is keeping score, and there is no more time.”

Princess Alexandra is the Covergirl for Gala Magazine

At the Hôtel de Paris before the 70th Rose Ball, Alexandra of Hanover gave an interview to Gala magazine. The Princess was featured on the cover of the magazine in a Prada dress. Titled “Conversation with a Free Spirit”, Princess Caroline’s youngest daughter spoke about how she was born in Austria to a Monegasque mother. When she’s in Monaco, the Princess revealed, she sometimes feel very Austrian, and when she’s in Germany or Austria, she feels Monegasque.

The 26-year-old said that she wants to do something with her life that isn’t tied to her title and she’s ready to write. She already shares her thoughts on Substack and has a background in philosophy and literature from New York University and Columbia.
