AS Monaco and Renault extend their partnership

AS Monaco and Renault, through Renault 4 E-Tech electric, are pleased to announce the extension of their partnership for another season.

After promoting the iconic Renault 5 E-Tech electric across Europe last season, it is now the equally legendary Renault 4, marketed in France from 1961 to 1992 and sold in over 8 million units, that AS Monaco will be showcasing during its upcoming Champions League campaign.

A recyclability rate of over 88%

With its arrival in car dealerships imminent, the Renault 4 E-Tech electric draws inspiration from the original design of its illustrious predecessor and perpetuates its founding spirit—freedom, accessibility, practicality—while reinterpreting it with modern technologies (openR Link, Google) and incorporating an eco-responsible approach—designed with nearly 20% recycled materials, the new R4 has a recyclability rate of over 88%. Renault has a clear ambition: to make this vehicle, with its bold neo-retro look, its new iconic car.

Major partner until 2026

Now a major partner of the Principality’s club until 2026, Renault will enable Renault 4 E-Tech electric to be featured on the front of the AS Monaco professional team’s jersey during Champions League matches played by the “Rouge & Blanc” next season.

The R4 logo will also be visible on the pocket of the Monegasque players’ jerseys during their Ligue 1 matches and, in addition, will enjoy significant visibility at the Stade Louis-II, as well as on the Club’s various communication platforms.

To reach all of its supporters throughout France

As part of this collaboration, a fleet of more than 20 Renault electrified vehicles will continue to be made available to AS Monaco. Various activations between the two entities will also enable the Monegasque club, backed by Renault’s network of car dealerships across France, to reach all of its supporters throughout France and the Principality.
