Monaco’s Museum of Traditions, which houses the Museum of “Vieux Monaco” is due to undergo an expansion. Some serious changes will create more space for this quite small museum.

On 6th April 2005, another chapter of Monaco’s history came to an end. The oldest European monarch Prince Rainier III died at Monaco's Cardiothoracic Centre at the age of 81. Prince Rainier III was one of those outstanding rulers whose reign has completely changed the image of Monaco.

The exhibition of the Prince of Monaco’s vintage car collection is not terribly touristy, though it may be of interest to car lovers and enthusiasts of all ages. Located at the Terrasses de Fontvieille, the exhibition brings together cars of different periods, made by European and American vehicle manufacturers.
