115th edition of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters

The Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, at its 115^th edition will take place from the 9^th to the 17^th April 2022 at the glamorous Monte-Carlo Country Club in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin district. After the cancellation of the 2020 edition due to pandemic and the unusual 2021 closed-door tournament that was followed, however, by 79 million people through various Media, there was the need for a change. This year’s tournament always part of the ATP Masters 1000 global tour and organized by the Société Monégasque pour l’Exploitation du Tournoi de Tennis (S.M.E.T.T.), will see the reborn of a certain normality.

The Rolex Monte Carlo Masters is one of the oldest tournaments in world tennis. Previously known as the “Monte Carlo Tennis Championship”, the famous competition on clay was created in 1897. It is now part of the Masters 1000, a category of events organised by the ATP that includes nine tournaments staged annually in Europe, North America and Asia.
