We cross paths with so many people, but do we truly meet them?

What constitutes a genuine encounter? Where does its power to change our lives—and reveal us to ourselves—come from? How can we open ourselves up to this adventure in a world of algorithms and echo chambers?

In a one-man show written by Charles Pépin—adapted from his bestselling book *La rencontre, une philosophie*—Thierry Lhermitte reflects on the encounters that have shaped his life (from his buddies in the *Splendid* troupe to… his horse!) and poses a profound question: by avoiding the risk of truly meeting others, might we be missing out on our own selves?
