Centenary of the birth of Miles Davis: Screening of “Ascenseur pour l’échafaud”

To mark the centenary of Miles Davis’s birth, rediscover “Ascenseur pour l’échafaud” (Elevator to the Gallows), a masterpiece by Louis Malle featuring a legendary improvised soundtrack by the iconic trumpeter on 1 October 2026 at 6.30 pm in Médiathèque Caroline.

The screening will be introduced by Jean-Paul Commin, who will shed light on the origins of this unique meeting between cinema and jazz.
