Step inside the extraordinary world of AS Monaco and be transported back in time with the club’s newly unveiled exhibition of historic jerseys and pennants, now dazzling in the heart of Stade Louis‑II. If you thought match nights were just about the action on the pitch, think again, this season, the journey begins before the kickoff.

A Treasure Trove of Rouge & Blanc Glory

This exhibition, meticulously curated by superfan and collector Julien Bouron of AS Monaco collection is a living timeline of AS Monaco’s European adventures. The centerpiece: 30 rare and unique jerseys, each echoing moments of drama and triumph from the club’s 34 European campaigns. Highlights include:

– The iconic kit from the 1992 Cup Winners’ Cup final, marking Monaco’s first major European final.

– The striking blue-and-yellow shirt worn during the unforgettable 1998 victory at Old Trafford, where Monaco dispatched Manchester United in the Champions League quarter-finals.

– The legendary 2004 Champions League final campaign jersey. And, of course, the warriors’ strip from 2017, during their stirring runs against Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund.

These treasures are elegantly displayed in the Salon Honneur during home match nights, where history and hospitality collide in perfect harmony.

More Than Jerseys: Pennants, Trophies and Tales

Just across, at the Pub by Blue Coast, visitors are treated to a dozen historic pennants, each exchanged between captains before epic European clashes. The pennants commemorate:

The 1990 semi-final berth after a hard-fought win over Valladolid in the Cup Winners’ Cup.

The 1992 final vs. Werder Bremen.

The legendary 8–3 demolition of Deportivo La Coruña in 2003.

The emphatic triumph over Real Madrid’s Galácticos in 2004 and the thrilling 2015 qualification against Arsenal in the Champions League round of 16.

Meanwhile, the Salon Honneur also showcases AS Monaco’s illustrious trophy cabinet, from multiple Coupe de France wins to Ligue 1 titles (1961, 1963, 1978, 1982, 1988, 1997, 2000, 2017), and the 2003 Coupe de la Ligue. It’s a dazzling display of elite success and club heritage.

A Fan’s Lifelong Passion, a Club’s Collective Pride

What makes this exhibition even more remarkable is that all items come from one person: Julien Bouron, a lifelong supporter.  His passion has blossomed into one of the most exceptional private collections in European football, featuring over a thousand Monaco jerseys.

His dream is now shared by all, bringing the club’s past to life for every visitor, whether a die-hard fan or a curious newcomer.

What’s Coming: Stories Still To Be Told

This is just the opening chapter. Later in the season, a second exhibition will honour the 50 years of Monaco’s celebrated academy, spotlighting jerseys from great talents nurtured within the club.

A third display, aligned with the 2026 FIFA World Cup, will showcase international stars who’ve donned Monaco’s colours on the global stage.

By season’s end, you can expect up to 90 historic jerseys to have graced the halls of Stade Louis‑II.
