Stars from the worlds of Formula 1 and Hollywood came together for the official premiere of the F1 film in New York City on June 16. Monaco’s own Charles Leclerc and other superstar drivers, including Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris were on the red carpet along with the stars of the film: Brad Pitt, Damson Idris and Javier Bardem.
In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Charles Leclerc said that it was an amazing experience to see so many people out for the sport he loves. According to the driver, four or five years ago, when he visited New York, nobody knew about Formula 1, and now the sport has grown so much and the movie will bring it to another level.
Scammers Impersonate Monaco’s Authorities

Monaco’s Police have issued an alert concerning a new scam targeted at people in Monaco, on June 18. Scammers are calling or messaging people pretending to be one of the Principality’s high-ranking personalities.
The Directorate of Public Security has called for the utmost vigilance after individuals in Monaco have been targeted via SMS, Whatsapp, videoconference and e-mails in an attempt to extract money. According to the Princely government, ill-intentioned individuals have been impersonating the identity of high-ranking personalities of the Principality and contacting personal relations of them, including company leaders or persons with responsibilities, for about a week before the alert was issued.
Fête de la Mer: An intergenerational festival celebrates the sea

Once again a rich and varied programme awaited all generations as Yacht Club de Monaco joined forces with Monegasque nautical and environmental institutions to organise the annual Fête de la Mer on Saturday 21 June. Several hundred turned out for this fun festive day in the YCM Marina with families, sea enthusiasts and stakeholders making the most of the watersports and educational activities available to all.
