Legendary Chef Paul Bocuse Honoured in Monaco
Paul Bocuse may have died in January 2018, but his legend and influence lives on around the world. The 6th Monte-Carlo Hospitality awards diner and Gala, organized by the Association des Industries Hôtelières Monégasques (AIHM) paid tribute to Paul Bocuse, the 20th century’s maestro of French cuisine, at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo.
Chef Sandro Micheli is Gault & Millau’s Pastry Chef of the Year
Chef Sandro Micheli, from the Louis XV – Alain Ducasse restaurant, was crowned “pastry chef of the year” by Gault & Millau. Since 2013, Sandro Micheli has been the chief pastry chef for the Louis XV restaurant at the Hôtel de Paris in Monaco.
Women’s Right to Choose discussed in Monaco
Stéphane Valeri, President of the National Council and Nathalie Amoratti-Blanc, President of the Committee on Women and Family Rights, discussed a number of topics at a recent press conference, including the gender pay gap, same-sex unions, abortion, the “Head of Home” status and inequalities between the sexes in the Principality.
Route du Rhum: Yacht Club of Monaco’s Malizia II
Boris Herrmann crossed the finish line of the solo transatlantic Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe race after 13 days 3 hours 47 minutes and 30 seconds. In total, the skipper covered 4,437 miles at an average speed of 14.5 knots aboard the Malizia II-Yacht Club of Monaco.

Be Safe Monaco prevents Young Drunk Drivers
