Under the initiative of Marie Ducruet and Élise Rouillard, Monaco inaugurated Little Wonders this Wednesday, January 21, in the presence of the Princely Family. “Élise and I are friends, and we experienced our pregnancies together. Our children grew up almost at the same pace, and we discovered motherhood hand in hand. In Monaco, we dreamed of a warm, stroller-friendly café where parents could gather indoors while their children played in a space designed especially for them. This shared dream is what we decided to bring to life.”

Spaces Designed for Every Age and Every Moment

Each area of Little Wonders has been designed with particular attention to safety, material quality, and the overall family experience, offering a space that is playful, aesthetic, and functional.

“The space was designed exactly as we envisioned it: a complete venue that meets the needs of children of different ages and their parents. There is a baby area dedicated to free movement, a role-play corner that encourages open-ended play, a play structure with slides and climbing areas, as well as construction games and a quiet reading corner. While the children play, parents can enjoy a coffee or a snack and share convivial moments. We wanted to create a place that is playful, warm, and truly comprehensive.”

Imitation Space & Mini City

Created to encourage symbolic play and imagination, this area allows children to recreate everyday scenes through role-playing. A mini city that fosters creativity, interaction, and learning through play.

Dedicated Space for Babies (0–18 months)

Specifically designed for infants, this calm and secure area offers age-appropriate modules that promote sensory development, free movement, and early exploration in complete serenity.

Reading & Construction Games Area

When not privatized for birthday parties or workshops, this space becomes a quiet zone dedicated to reading, focus, and creativity. Children’s books and construction games allow children to slow down and nurture their imagination.

A Meaningful Inauguration

The inauguration on January 21, 2026, brought together the Princely Family, partners, local stakeholders, and guests for an exclusive first look at this new venue.

“It was an especially emotional and powerful moment for us: the realization of a project that was very close to our hearts, imagined above all for our children, who are the true driving force behind LITTLE WONDERS. The support and presence of the Princely Family reflect the Principality’s interest in this opening and reinforce our immense pride in seeing this project come to life. The feedback from parents, thanking us for having thought of and created this place, confirms that we have responded to a genuine need.”
