Marcel Ravin Receives the Ordre du Mérite Agricole as Prince Albert Looks On
On 20 November, in a ceremony held under the auspices of French diplomatic and Monegasque dignitaries, Chef Marcel Ravin received the Ordre du Mérite agricole. The decoration, colloquially known as « le Poireau » (the Leek) is awarded to men and women who have rendered “outstanding services to agriculture.”
The award is a meaningful addition to Ravin’s growing list of accolades. Already honoured with the Légion d’Honneur since 2017, he leads the kitchens of both Blue Bay and Elsa at Monte-Carlo’s resorts, Blue Bay boasting two Michelin stars and Elsa another.
How One Weekend in Qatar Turned the Drivers Championship Fight Volatile

The Qatar Grand PrixTM didn’t decide the Drivers’ Championship, but it fundamentally changed its trajectory. What arrived in Lusail as a McLaren-led title fight left as a compressed, high-pressure three-way battle that will now be settled only at the season finale in Abu Dhabi.
Rather than confirming a new champion, Qatar exposed how fragile even a points lead can be when Sprint races, strategy calls, and execution all converge on a single weekend.
A Carnival of Lights: How Monaco’s 2025 Funfair Captured Hearts Again

The harbour of Port Hercule in Monaco transformed itself into a sparkling playground of rides, music and laughter. The 2025 edition of the Foire Attractions de Monaco opened its gates with a promise: to enchant all ages, in a setting where sea meets ride-whirl, and tradition flirts with the thrill of the new.
Every year around the All Saints (Toussaint ) school holidays, the fair takes over the Quai Albert Iᵉʳ and the Darse Sud of the port. In previous years, the event has hosted around 80 stands and rides, from gentle carousels for the youngest to high-adrenaline attractions for the bold. In 2025 the figures show that some 779,739 unique entries were registered. Imagine how popular this fair is. Even with some rain neither spirits or numbers are dampened by very much.
Navicap Challenge-Trophée Elena Sivoldaeva: Double podium for Monaco

The Navicap Challenge-Trophée Elena Sivoldaeva 2025 was won in fine style by Victor Holst and Paul Pillon, young sailors from Yacht Club de Monaco, ahead of a record fleet of 65 crews from eight nations. Organised by the YCM in collaboration with FxPro and North Sails, the event is unique as one where teamwork takes on a whole new dimension given the very different profiles of the participants. “Over these last three days, we saw double-hander crews capable of adapting, listening to each other and building a rhythm race after race. This is exactly what we want to encourage: demanding sailing, where technique counts as much as teamwork,” said YCM Managing Director and General Secretary Bernard d’Alessandri.
