In a dazzling culinary triumph that sent waves through the world of haute cuisine, Chef Marcel Ravin has cooked up yet another milestone: first prize in the “Chef” category at the illustrious 2025 Hôtel & Lodge Awards. The ceremony, held on May 13 in Paris, saw the Martinique-born maestro honoured for his boundary-breaking, soul-stirring approach to fine dining.

At the helm of not one, but two of Monaco’s most celebrated restaurants—Blue Bay Marcel Ravin (proud bearer of two Michelin stars) at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort and Elsa (a shining one-star gem) at Monte-Carlo Beach—Ravin continues to blend artistry and authenticity into every dish. His food isn’t just delicious; it’s a story on a plate, steeped in Caribbean sunshine and kissed by Mediterranean breezes.
