Pink Ribbon Gala: Lights, Unity and Philanthropy
The Pink Ribbon Monaco Gala, held under the Honorary Presidency of Princess Charlene, illuminated the Principality in pink on Saturday 11 October 2025, when over 20 landmarks across Monaco lit up to send a powerful message of unity and support to women fighting cancer — not only in the Principality, but around the world.
Hosted in the Salon Empire of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, with the support of the Société des Bains de Mer, the sold-out Gala brought together philanthropists, distinguished guests, and renowned figures for an evening dedicated to hope, solidarity, and progress in women’s health.
The event raised funds for a medical and scientific study led by Dr. Florent Hugonnet at the Princess Grace Hospital, a groundbreaking clinical trial focused on improving early detection of lobular breast cancer, one of the most difficult forms to diagnose.

The Keys to Perfection: Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo Retains Michelin’s Highest Honour

On Wednesday, October 8, the Michelin Guide held its first global Michelin Keys 2025 awards ceremony in Paris, unveiling the latest distinctions for hotels worldwide. Among the highlights of the evening: the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo has once again been awarded the maximum three Michelin Keys, reaffirming its status as an icon of Monegasque luxury and service.
What began in 2024 as a novel hotel classification has now evolved into a fully global program. The Michelin Keys, often described as the hotel equivalent of Michelin stars, recognize outstanding lodging experiences across five domains: architecture and design, service quality and consistency, personality and character, value for money, and a meaningful contribution to the locale or environment.
In the 2025 edition, Michelin inspectors reviewed more than 7,000 hotels. Ultimately, 143 of them received the top score of three Keys, described as representing an “extraordinary stay”, a level of comfort, style, and service that justifies making the hotel a destination in its own right.
Sparks of Sustainability: Which Electric Champions Were Honoured at the Prince’s Palace?

On the Place du Palais Princier, watched by Prince Albert, the 11th Riviera Electric Challenge (REC) reached its conclusion. What began as a bold rally of eco-driving, regularity tests and regional discovery across more than 300 km ended as a statement: sustainable mobility is not just a vision, it is increasingly a vibrant reality.
The Riviera Electric Challenge has, since its foundation, sought to marry two sometimes divergent goals: the pleasure of the drive, and the imperative to reduce one’s carbon footprint. Over its two-day journey from Cagnes-sur-Mer, threading through the Italian hinterland via Dolceacqua and then returning to Monaco, participants negotiated winding roads, tight time windows, and energy management puzzles.
As teams rolled into the palace square, the atmosphere was one of festive anticipation even though this was not a high-speed race, but a celebration of precision, endurance, and environmental consciousness.
In customary fashion, Prince Albert himself presided over the awards ceremony, personally recognizing crews that excelled not only in competitive categories, but also in promoting broader values of conscientious mobility.
