The Sovereign presided over the awards ceremony for the 11th Riviera Electric Challenge at the Prince's Palace Square on October 10. The cross-border race dedicated to electric mobility had twenty-one teams participate this year.

Princess Stephanie and Camille Gottlieb attend Global Gift Gala

The Global Gift Gala made its grand debut in Monaco at the iconic Salle Empire of the Hôtel de Paris on October 4, 2025. Eva Longoria attended the event as the Honorary Chair of the glamorous philanthropic evening. The Charity event brought together Princess Stephanie, Camille Gottlieb, Alexander Grimaldi, Marie and Louis Ducruet. The gala’s Humanitarian Award was presented to Princess Stephanie, in recognition of her enduring humanitarian commitment.

Global Gift Gala

The Global Gift Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2013 by Spanish actress, businesswoman, and philanthropist María Bravo. Funds raised during the gala will be invested in social projects aimed at improving the lives of children, women, and families in urgent need.

Prince Albert II attends King Frederik and Queen Mary’s Dinner for European Leaders

The Sovereign travelled to Denmark to participate in discussions during the 7th CPE Summit in Copenhagen, along with other European Heads of State. The Prince’s visit began with an official dinner with King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark at the Amalienborg Palace on October 1.

French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, EU High Representative Kaja Kallas, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen were also in attendance, along with many other European leaders.

Prince Albert II hosts a Grimaldi Sites Party at the Yacht Club

Prince Albert II and more than a hundred French and Italian mayors gathered to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Grimaldi Historic Sites of Monaco Association on October 10 at the Yacht Club de Monaco.

In 2015, the mayor of Menton, Jean-Claude Guibal, had the idea of creating the association of places linked to one another by the Grimaldi family. In 2020, an Italian association was established, and in 2022, a Monegasque federation was created to foster synergy between the two entities. Today, more than 150 localities are members of the association. Prince Albert II makes several visits to these localities throughout the year.

Legion of Honour: Princess Stephanie and Princess Caroline are Honoured by France

Prince Albert II attended a ceremony presenting French distinctions to his two sisters on October 6, 2025. Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie received insignias by the French ambassador to Monaco, Count Jean d’Haussonville, at the Prince’s Palace. Princess Stephanie was made an Officer of the National Order of the Legion of Honour. The distinction is France’s highest award, created in 1802 by First Consul Napoleon Bonaparte. The Princess of Hanover was elevated to the Grand Cross of the National Order of Merit. Princess Stephanie was accompanied by two of her children, Louis Ducruet and Camille Gottlieb. Princess Caroline was accompanied by her two sons, Andrea and Pierre Casiraghi.

Prince Albert II visits Rwanda and attends World Cycling Championships

The Sovereign travelled to Africa for a busy three-day visit. First, Prince Albert II visited two beekeeping schools from the French Observatory of Apidology (OFA) in Rwanda on Friday, September 26. The schools train vulnerable women in beekeeping with the goal of providing them with financial independence through honey production.

“This visit is part of the Prince’s and his foundation’s active support for the OFA’s work to protect bees and promote biodiversity,” said the Princely Palace.

The Sovereign also participated in the launch of the Carlos Takamà Boxing Academy in Kigali, a centre dedicated to the sports and educational training of African youth, founded by former boxing champion Carlos Takam, who trained for many years in the Principality.

HSH the Prince attended the World Road Cycling Championships, a historic first on the African continent. He attended the official ceremony for the women’s event, where he was invited by the UCI to present the medals on the podium, including the gold medal to Canadian cyclist, Magdeleine Vallières.

The following day, the Sovereign Prince signalled the start of the men’s event. Monegasque cyclist, Victor Langellotti, participated in the men’s competition. Slovenian cyclist, Tadej Pogacar, won the men’s championship. The Prince also met with Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda.

The Sovereign presided over the awards ceremony for the 11th Riviera Electric Challenge at the Prince’s Palace Square on October 10. The cross-border race dedicated to electric mobility had twenty-one teams participate this year. Team number three, composed of François Lallemand and Jean-Luc Puyo, representing the Monaco City Hall, won the first prize for eco-driving. This prize rewards the team that adopted the most environmentally friendly driving style over the entire route. Equipped with a route and energy consumption indicators, teams had to precisely manage their trajectory over nearly 300 kilometres.

This 2025 edition’s theme was the promotion of historical sites linked to the Grimaldi family. Over the course of two days, participants travelled through Cagnes-sur-Mer, Tournefort, Massoins, Villars-sur-Var, Levens, La Turbie, Menton, then Dolceacqua, San Remo, Isolabona, Apricale, Perinaldo and Peille, all towns marked by the legacy of the Monegasque dynasty.
