Prince Albert II and Princess Caroline inaugurate “La Bookinerie” Bookstore
The Sovereign and the Princess of Hanover inaugurated La Bookinerie, located Promenade Honoré II, on November 11. Françoise Gamerdinger, Director of Cultural Affairs, and Jean-Charles Curau, Secretary General of the Prince Pierre Foundation, were also in attendance.
The shop is run by Arthur and Camille Laure, a couple who left Montpellier and their scientific careers to realize their dream in Monaco. Arthur holds a doctorate in health sciences and specializes in lung cancer research while Camille was an engineer at INSERM (the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research) in the field of neurodegenerative diseases. The couple spent four years bringing their project to fruition. La Bookinerie is much more than a bookstore, aside from being able to browse new literary releases, visitors can share their passion for reading over a drink, and participate in cultural and scientific events.
Prince Albert II visits one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World in Paraguay
During his trip to South America, the Prince made his first official visit to Paraguay, at the invitation of Santiago Peña, President of the Republic of Paraguay. On Monday, November 3, Prince Albert II was welcomed to the country with military honours at the start of his 48-hour visit. The Sovereign was then received at the Presidential Palace by President Santiago Peña and later delivered the opening address at a Paraguayan Economic Conference.

Towards the end of his visit, the Prince had a tour of the Itaipu Binacional hydroelectric power plant, located on the Paraná River on the border between Brazil and Paraguay. Built between 1975 and 1982, it is one of the most powerful in the world and the largest in terms of cumulative energy production. Classified as one of the “Seven Wonders of the Modern World”, it is nearly 8 km long and 196 m high. During his visit to the viewpoint overlooking the dam, the Prince signed the guestbook and planted a tree.
Princess Charlene visits Joya Jewellery Fair at One Monte-Carlo
Princess Charlene visited the Joya international jewellery fair at One Monte-Carlo in Monaco on November 13. Placed under the High Patronage of Prince Albert, the exhibition is in its second year and is organized by Vanessa Margowski and Delphine Pastor-Reiss.
Princess Charlene discovered an exceptional selection of antique, vintage, artist, and contemporary jewellery. In 2025, Joya won the German Design Award for their cleverly designed structures and booths. The booths, developed by Christ & Gantenbein in collaboration with the Milanese brand NM3, were designed to be dismantled and reused for future editions. The exhibition incorporates custom-made furniture by NM3, including, circular glass tables with stainless steel bases.
Princess Charlene kicks off No Finish Line
Princess Charlene officially kicked off the 26th No Finish Line on November 15. Held under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, the charity race is open to everyone (runners, walkers, professional athletes and everyday people) until November 23.
Organized by the Monegasque association “Children & Future”, the No Finish Line raises funds to support projects for sick or disadvantaged children. Each kilometre covered corresponds to a €1 donation. Since 1999, No Finish Line has raised almost €5,450,000. This year’s edition has the ambitious goal of covering 325,000 km and raising €325,000.
