Construction to Secure the Larvotto Tunnel begins on the 6th of February

In order to improve the safety of road tunnels in the Principality, the Larvotto tunnel must undergo some security work and construction. The tunnel will need the setting up of fire protection networks with the creation of fire and safety niches.

The Larvotto tunnel safety operations will begin on Monday, the 6th of February and will end on Thursday, the 30th of March. They will be in operation from 8:00 pm until 6:00 am in order to limit the impact on traffic. The noisiest works will be stopped at midnight. The site requires the closing of the tunnel in both directions of traffic. Users coming from the east of the Principality, via the Larvotto blvd, will have to leave via the Portier; those arriving from the West will only have access to the Gare de Monaco.
