Monaco Athletics Festival: high jump event

This new high jump competition is organized on 5 August 2026 at 6 pm in partnership between the Monegasque Athletics Federation (FMA) and Mutaz Barshim, three-time world champion and Olympic champion in the discipline.

Mutaz Barshim, an iconic figure in high jump, has helped create an innovative competition format called the What Gravity Challenge, which aims to make athletics more spectacular and accessible to the general public through original urban formats. The Monaco Athletics Festival is part of this dynamic, welcoming the world’s best high jumpers to a unique urban setting.
