Monegasque Red Nose Day

19th Edition of the Monegasque Red Nose Day, under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, will take place on December 6th, Saint Nicholas Day – Patron Saint of Children.
Les Enfants de Frankie association, concerned about the environment, adapts its ‘Red Nose’ so that it becomes a more ecological and useful article for citizens. The foam ball becomes a “reusable Shopping Bag”, and retains the shape of the Red Nose when closed.
It is available for €2.50. Through their purchase, each citizen supports children in difficulty and allows the association to ensure their development: financing of educational projects, for therapeutic purposes or specific medical equipment; educational, sporting, cultural outings, creative workshops…
The population is invited to use their bag during the support day, Wednesday December 6, 2023 and of course throughout the year.
The “Red Nose” of Frankie the clown, the association’s mascot, was created on December 6, 2005, the day of Saint Nicholas and Patron Saint of children, to support sick, disabled and/or children in family difficulties in Monaco and the PACA region. Every person who buys a Red Nose supports these children and thumbs their nose at pain, disability, ignorance and isolation. Until 2021 the Nose had the appearance of a friendly little foam ball. The Nose has diversified over the years, with its color and smiley face.
