Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival (“Printemps des Arts”): concert by talented young performers by the pupils of the Rainier III Academy and regional music conservatoires, Cameron Crozman, cello and David Nguyen, piano on Thursday 5 April, at 8.30 pm Tunnel Riva.
Trained in Canada, the cellist Cameron Crozman likes the great repertoire as much as the music of our time. For this concert, he takes up the collective experiment conducted by Anssi Karttunen in 2010: ask thirty-one composers to write something based on a Chaconne by Giuseppe Colombi, a composer from Modena in the 17th century.
On the programme: Portrait by Yan Maresz, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Felix Mendelssohn and a collective work
