A global phenomenon, the icon of French-language urban pop makes her live comeback with the album Destinée, setting the legendary Salle des Étoiles alight after performing at Stade de France.
Aya Nakamura, a Franco-Malian singer and songwriter with billions of streams, has been described by Billboard magazine as “French pride, global icon.” From the outset, she has imposed her own style: powerful femininity embodied in ultra-danceable pop tracks, swayed by Caribbean kompa, shatta and zouk. The glamorous voice of Vogue World in Paris in 2024 and queen of flames in a Dior dress at the Olympic Games in the same year, she steals the show with every appearance. The muse of haute couture and figure of the contemporary urban scene returns with her fifth album. Released at the end of 2025, Destinée emphasises R’n’B, jazz and house. With this highly-anticipated album, she has sold out three concerts at Stade de France in May 2026. “Destinée is a part of me”, explains the singer, who explores intimate journeys in 18 tracks, from the discrimination she suffered in childhood to her search for love as a woman. Aya Nakamura’s monthly streams have surpassed those of Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd. Ranked in the charts of more than 40 countries, with hits such as Pookie and Djadja , she is the most listened to French artist in the world.
