Thursday Live Sessions: Friedberg
Thursday Live Sessions: Friedberg will be on stage of the Grimaldi Forum Monaco on Thursday, 15 October 2026, from 6:30 p.m. apéromix – 8:30 p.m. live performance.
Formed in 2019 by Anna, who was born in Austria and is based in London and Berlin (songwriting, vocals, guitar, cowbells and percussion), Friedberg is completed by Emily Linden (guitar, vocals), Cheryl Pinero (bass, vocals) and Fifi Dewey (drums).
Their music, often described as a blend of post-punk and alt-rock sprinkled with captivating pop, is both familiar and completely fresh.
Friedberg’s initial success came from the single “Go Wild”, a hit featured on the FIFA 2020 soundtrack and in the BBC series “Normal People”, as well as their brilliant debut EP “Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah”, a collection of punchy tracks designed for the live stage.
The band has made waves across Europe with appearances at Eurosonic, Open Air St. Gallen, Popfest Vienna and Haldern Pop, alongside a US tour and shows at the Brixton Academy supporting Hot Chip, as well as gigs with Placebo, Giant Rooks and Big Special.
Anna Friedberg’s captivating vocals are as light as ever, whilst the drum and bass grooves keep the energy flowing.
A fresh and talented band just the way we like them!
