Thursday Live Sessions: Mangaboo

Mangaboo is the new musical project of Giulietta Passera (The Sweet Life Society) and Francesco Pistoi (Motel Connection). Mixing house music and jazz, techno and soul, the “Mangaboo” sound is filled with a magnetic and rhythmic atmosphere. In short, we dance, we dream, but mostly we just can’t stay still! After a series of major concerts, such as Torino New Year 2016, Genova Pride 2017 and the Alta Felicità Festival, Mangaboo’s single, “Giant Steps” was launched on November 24^th, and was soon followed by the release of the album. The video, directed by Giulia Achenza, was screened by Vanity Fair and La Stampa, before playing on MTV New Zone. The latest single, “Reception”, for its part, has been in stores since June. The tour, which began in December, travels through Italy’s clubs and festivals, before arriving for this much-anticipated event in the Principality.
