Up close and personal with the Aston Martin DB11

It was a thrilling moment for Aston Martin lovers in Monaco. Amidst a canopy of bright lights and the thrusting sounds of engines, a curtain rises and the DB11 appears. A star was born Wednesday night last week on the stage of the Salle des Princes for the most recent inception of the famed Aston Martin brand.

The dealer for the Principality ̶ Aston Martin Monaco ̶ had invited its clientele to the Grimaldi Forum evening event to allow for an up-close view of this racing car featuring pronounced aerodynamics and hiding beneath its hood a new bi-turbo V12 engine.

The stunning vehicle, unveiled last March at the Geneva Motor Show, is presented as “the most powerful, efficient and dynamic model in the history of Aston Martin.” A true delight for connoisseurs, at a price-tag of over 200,000 euros!

DB11 Characteristics

According to Aston Martin’s site, their “fearless design philosophy” has led to this beautiful new grille, clamshell bonnet, and enhanced stability. The site goes on to show how the car combines both lightness and strength with its new bonded aluminium body structure, and the all-new LED head and taillights “create expressive visual signatures.” The interior only gets better, as the DB11 boasts a luxurious use of “natural materials, craftsmanship, and infotainment technology to offer the highest possible level of comfort and convenience.” The interior can be tailored to your individual needs and personal tastes, thanks to a wide array of palettes and design details.

Not only is this car beautifully crafted and designed to the highest standard, but it is also practical. The site details that the car’s luggage compartment can easily hold two golf bags and the DB11 also has the ability to fix two child seats, suiting any busy and active lifestyle. The additional headroom and legroom means the DB11 “is a true 2+2.” For further convenience, the full-colour 12” TFT LCD display allows for the utmost functionality, and the car’s new satellite navigation and audio system are exceedingly easy to operate, even compared with previous models.

For thrill-seekers, the DB11 does not disappoint, as thanks to its new twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12 engine, with 600 bhp and 700 Nm of torque, the site proudly states that this is the most powerful DB production model in the maker’s history.

Aston Martin fans living in Monaco will most definitely find everything they could desire and more in this thrilling new model.
