2020 car registration stickers now on sale for vehicles registered in Monaco

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office would like to inform users that annual car registration invoices for 2020 have been sent to all owners of vehicles registered in the Principality of Monaco. The 2020 car registration campaign will run from 1 October 2019 to 31 December 2019.

Users have two ways to pay:

  • By cheque (valid in Monaco or France), made out to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office. Cheques should be sent together with the duly completed and signed invoice, in an envelope labelled with the sticker provided.

The envelope may be stamped (at current postage rates) or deposited in the post box provided for this purpose at the entrance to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office corridor on the first floor of the building at 23 Avenue Albert II.

Please note: any change of address, civil status or renewal of identity card must be reported to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office. Depending on the circumstances, it may be necessary to update driving licences and registration certificates.

Payments must be made (postmarked) before 31 December 2019.

A late payment penalty will be imposed for each vehicle from 1 January 2020. Vehicles for which payment has not been made will be deregistered from 7 February 2020, after formal notification has been sent.
