Airbus Presents a Helicopter Prototype for the Sovereign Prince
“What is the future of defense policyfor helicopters?”said Fabrice Arfi, vice president of business development at Airbus helicopters, as part of the solemn re-entry of the Institute for Higher National Defense Studies, which took place at Monaco’s Yacht Club on Saturday morning.
A network of 10,000 people
The opportunity to present a new prototype envisioned to replace the Dauphin of the Sovereign Albert II was seized at the 66th National Session of the IHEDN. Amongst the Monaco personalities present in the audience were Colonel Luc Fringant, chamberlain of Prince Albert II, counter-Admiral Dominique Riban, who was appointed on the 5th of July to head the Monaco Cyber Security Agency (AMSN) and his deputy Frédéric Fautrier. This institute creates a link between former soldiers (as well as sailors, firemen, etc.) and the civilian world. Christian Tafani, president of the regional association Nice Côte d’Azur, also described IHEDN’s network which represents “a network of 10,000 people across France, including 170 in the Alpes Maritimes. We try to address all themes of defense and relay messages between the nation and the military. Mario Faure, president of the IHEDN union, stressed that the spirit of defense must be linked to our values of the Republic. “
