Philippe Choquet, 54 years old, is passionate about sports, particularly road cycling. He is currently collecting funds for the Monaco Liver Disorder Association, a charity for children battling liver disease, before embarking on a long-distance cycling event. He will be leaving on May 30, 2025 at 10am. from the Prince’s Palace Square.

“My goal is to cover the 747 km distance, with 5,500 meters of elevation gain, connecting the Principality of Monaco to the Principality of Andorra in a single stage. My goal is to complete this route in less than 36 hours,” says Choquet.

Choquet has participated in cycling events before, including the Milan-San Remo Cyclo-Cross and the 7 Majors. His goal for 2025 was to participate in an ultra-distance cycling event. So, he has decided to turn this ultra-trail cycling event into a fundraiser for the MLD association. The cycling event is under the high patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco.

How to sponsor

Sponsors can go to the MLD association website to support the event. As of May 6, € 2,700 has been pledged out of a €20,000 goal.

Sponsors have the opportunity to apply their logo to Choquet’s equipment (jersey, bike, etc.), be featured in communication materials, mentioned in press releases and interviews and receive visibility on social media throughout the challenge, with personalized thanks.

“Your support would be invaluable in carrying out this charitable adventure, and I would be honoured to count on your commitment,” says Choquet.
