More News From the Academy

Antonin Cartillier and Enzo Couto, both trained at the Academy, have signed their first professional contract.

Antonin Cartillier (18), joined the AS Monaco training center in 2019. In line with the national U19 team, finalists in the last edition of the French championship in the category and of which he is the captain, Antonin has just completed a convincing season, with 3 goals scored and 15 assists delivered in 33 matches.

Enzo Couto, 19 on July 14, was also part of the national U19s last season. The central defender played 24 games and started, like Antonin Cartillier, in the semi-finals (victory against PSG 4-2) and in the final against FC Nantes.

The two players “made in La Diagonale” have both signed a contract binding them to AS Monaco until 2025.

Paul Mitchell, Sporting Director: “The Academy is a cornerstone of our sporting project and our desire is to develop the talents we train. Like the entire U19 group, Antonin and Enzo have shown great things this season. This first professional contract is a reward for the efforts already made and we expect them to continue on this path. “

Pascal de Maesschalck, Directeur of development of the young players reinforced these comments too.
