After the excitement of the Roaring Twenties in 2018 and the magic of “Winter Chic” last February, the Casino Café de Paris transformed itself again on Saturday, July 6, to celebrate the summer with a breath-taking Dolce Vita evening in honour of its clientele. Ode to the glamour and carelessness of the Riviera of the 50s and 60s, the evening transported its guests into a festive and happy world where pin-ups and crooners and even iconic vespas paraded around until the end of the evening.
It is after all the most palatial and beautiful slot machine setting in Europe, much appreciated by local and international customers. And new customers too enjoyed the sunny interlude and let themselves be immersed in an atmosphere of rhythm while enjoying a subtle, elegant and very “dolce” experience. Theatre of living and carelessness of the 50s and 60s took over and embraced the evening’s revellers.
The members of the My Monte-Carlo program received an exclusive welcome at 7 pm by a majestic Place du Casino show with artists moving gracefully and swaying and gyrating in the air accompanied by bouquets of balloons decorated with images of the Casino Café de Paris. Musicians added a festive touch, bubbling with enthusiasm and gaiety, enthralling the guests as they entered. The Casino had been completely transformed to welcome them, with fountains, vespas and pin-ups offering limoncello, spritz and toffee apples to blast the evening off to a flying start.
A creative cocktail was served from a very fifties petrol pump – can you believe it! Musicians, crooners and DJs vibrated in sync to allow everyone to enjoy the thrill and get in the mood. VIP customers were received in a unique space full of nostalgia, inspired by the era’s most beautiful beaches of the Riviera. The Casino was then opened to the public from 10pm, with the opportunity of winning a night in the sublime Princess Grace Suite of the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo, acknowledged as occupying the most exclusive setting in the Riviera with its expansive 910 m2 offering a spectacular view of the Mediterranean.
The night continued with yet more surprises. From midnight to 2am, every 10 minutes, Mystery Jackpots of 500 € fell randomly on the slot machines of the Casino de Café de Paris to the delight of the guests.
The Director of Café de Paris Rudy Tarditi was exactly right when he expressed himself along these lines:
“It’s the players themselves who call the venue a warm space, synonymous with fun and entertainment. At the Café de Paris Casino, the staff keep close ties with the clientele, who repay the high standard of service with loyalty. Every day, the evidence is all around ……so much evidence that it is not surprising that the signature of the place is: “the Casino that loves you”. ”
The spectacular Dolce Vita evening was just one of the exclusive experiences offered by the loyalty program “My Monte-Carlo” which now has nearly 27,000 members. Many are now expectantly wondering what other creative surprises and rewards are in store for them. The word is travelling fast – don’t miss out on the Dolce Vita and all the other windfalls that are part of the experience of being a member of My Monte Carlo.
