From November 24th to 27th, 2023, the Monaco Chapiteau will welcome the 26th edition of Monte-Carlo Gastronomy, organized by Caroli Com – Groupe Caroli. This event isn’t just a feast; it’s an immersion into the culinary world, a celebration of authentic flavours, and an opportunity for visitors to prepare for their upcoming festive tables.
This exhibition has been a perennial success story. It owes its triumph not only to the quality of products sourced from a meticulous selection of exhibitors but also to a captivating array of activities. It provides a unique chance for guests to shop for a diverse range of products just ahead of the year-end celebrations. On the menu: a delightful assortment of products from French, Italian, and European regions, along with captivating demonstrations, tastings, and competitive contests.
Under the Monaco Chapiteau’s roof, a gastronomic odyssey awaits spread over 2500m2. In an inviting atmosphere, over 100 producers from France, Italy, and Europe will showcase an enticing array of offerings, from foie gras, truffles, and caviar to chocolates, cheeses, and wines from distinguished vineyards.
Chefs Secret Recipes Revealed
The event will feature daily culinary demonstrations by esteemed chefs, including renowned figures from Monaco and globally recognized talents such as Rodrigo Fernandini. These sessions will uncover the secret recipes of these maestros and will be broadcast live on the salon’s social media platforms.
The Maestro Chef competition
Now in its 5th edition, 8 amateur chefs will do combat in a unique and increasingly popular regional event. Organized in collaboration with the Monaco Taste and Flavors Association and judged by Monégasque chefs and the 2022 winner, Elodie Chantrel, this contest runs from November 24th to 26th, culminating in a grand finale on November 26th. Each day will present a new recipe challenge, revealed only on the same day.
Maestro Kids competition
Another intriguing event is the 2nd Maestro Kids competition designed in partnership with the Monaco Taste and Flavors Association. On November 27th, six young talents will display their creativity in creating sweet and savoury cookies, including a gluten and lactose-free version.
Slow Food
The Slow Food contest will be a highlight, honouringexhibitors with the Slow Food Monaco Riviera Côte d’Azur prizes and the Special Jury Prize for their outstanding product quality, originality, and innovation. These awards serve not only as accolades for the exhibitors but also as trustworthy guides for visitors seeking top-notch products. The award ceremony is scheduled for November 24th at 6 p.m.
A special mention goes to the Gastronomic Chroniclers Contest and the Monaco Sommeliers Association, presided over by Dominique Milardi. The ceremony on November 24th at 6 p.m. will reward exhibitors showcasing wines, champagnes, liqueurs, and spirits.
For the Children: Fight Pediatric Cancers
A novel addition this year is the cocktail event in support of the Flavien Foundation, dedicated to fighting pediatric cancers. Taking place on November 24th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., this fundraising gathering will see nineteen esteemed chefs, including Michelin-starred luminaries like Mauro Colagreco (Le Mirazur ***) and Dominique Lory (Grill */ Hôtel de Paris), each crafting one or two bites.
