The Principality of Monaco glittered brighter than ever on Saturday night as the Salle des Étoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo played host to the first-ever Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie, a celebration destined to become a defining date in the global luxury calendar.

The Principality of Monaco glittered brighter than ever on Saturday night as the Salle des Étoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo played host to the first-ever Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie, a celebration destined to become a defining date in the global luxury calendar.

Beneath the starlit ceiling, the world’s most prestigious jewelry houses, Chanel, Dior, Chopard, Tiffany & Co., Bvlgari, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Messika, Anna Hu,  Boucheron and Martin Katz and more gathered for an evening that shimmered with artistry, heritage, and emotion.

An Historic Gathering of the Masters

For the first time, the giants of High Jewellery stood united, not in competition, but in reverence for an art form that transcends fashion and approaches cultural legacy. The evening was opened by Stéphane Valéri, Chairman and CEO of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, and Jean-Philippe Braud, the visionary co-founder of the Grand Prix.

Their message was clear: Haute Joaillerie deserves recognition not merely as a luxury, but as a living art, a bridge between creative innovation, heritage craftsmanship, and economic excellence.

Among the glittering crowd were influential figures including Caroline Scheufele of Chopard, Frédéric Grangié of Chanel, Nathalie Verdeille of Tiffany & Co., and Marie-Noëlle Barrère of Bvlgari. Also in attendance were cultural icons and jewelry aficionados, Eva Herzigová, Isabelle Huppert, Natalia Vodianova, Cindy Bruna, Lady Kitty Spencer, and Pansy Ho, adding Hollywood allure to a night already rich in sparkle.

And not failing to mention:

Bogolo Kenewendo, Minister of Mines and Energy of Botswana.

Giuseppina Cannizzaro, Director of Haute Couture and Haute Joaillerie at Dolce & Gabbana.

Ludovic Watine, General Manager France & Monaco Dior Couture.

Thierry Vasseur, Senior VP Jewellery & High Jewellery, Tiffany & Co.

Haute Cuisine Meets Haute Joaillerie

To mark the occasion, Monaco’s own multi-starred chef Marcel Ravin composed an exquisite dinner designed as an olfactory and sensory journey through the world of jewellery-making.

Throughout the evening, thirty-three masterpieces, jewels chosen by each House to represent its spirit were presented in a choreographed promenade between tables. These creations had been on public display in Monaco’s luxury boutiques and at the Café de la Rotonde, where over 20,000 visitors had voted for their favourite  piece via a dedicated app.

The exhibition’s success proved what insiders have long known: Haute Joaillerie doesn’t just adorn the elite, it captivates the imagination of the world.

And the Winners Are…

After two breathtaking showcases, the international jury, chaired by renowned jewellery expert Fabienne Reybaud, unveiled the laureates of the Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie 2025, honouring excellence in design, craftsmanship, and vision.
