In a landmark move underscoring its dedication to environmental stewardship, the Principality of Monaco has officially joined the Space for Climate Observatory (SCO), an international initiative leveraging space technologies to combat climate change. The formal accession took place during the SCO’s third congress on March 20, 2025, at the Ministerial Conference Center in Paris. H.E. Valérie Bruell-Melchior, Monaco’s Ambassador to France, signed the charter in the presence of representatives from Monaco’s Department of External Relations and Cooperation and the Monaco Office for Space Affairs.
