Social media footage shows tennis player Rafael Nadal’s pick to cruise through the Caribbean,  the Sunreef 74, Chrissy. Launched last June by the Polish shipyard, the multi-hull features a special 4-cabin layout.

Rafa Nadal is a great lover of the sea and sailing with his family or friends along the coasts of the Balearic Islands according to his social feed. However, these days he has taken advantage of the warm climate in the Caribbean to enjoy the coasts of the Bahamas. While recovering from his recent operation on the right ankle, the Manacor took advantage of this break in the sports season to rest among clear waters.

Nadal, who also owns the 23.5-meter yacht Beethoven, delivered in 2016 by Monte Carlo Yachts previously starred in a marketing campaign for the Italian yacht manufacturer in 2017 onboard his yacht.

A popular multi-hull model, the Sunreef 74 Nadal cruised on in the Caribbean has four large cabins including a master suite with more than 20 square meters. This boat also stands out for its large bow terrace, a large flybridge and a full cabin aft for versatile use.

NBA All-Star Tony Parker orders 35m Kando 110 new build

Tony Parker, the French NBA All-Star,  has commissioned a 35-meter Kando 110 from Turkish yacht builder Ava Yachts. The yacht, scheduled for delivery in 2020, will become the second hull of the series. The yacht is understand to cost near €6,650,000.

Amongst features planned for the yacht are a beach club with a swimming platform as well as a light, contemporary interior picked by Parker and his wife. At the time of the sale, the hull of the yacht and its superstructure were already partly built.

Drafted from Europe into the NBA, Tony Parker had a 17-year run with the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA, playing 6 All-Star games and being named the MVP of the 2007 NBA Finals. Now 36 years old and playing for the Charlotte Hornets on a $5 million a year salary, Parker is estimated to have earned over $165 million in salary over his 18 years in the league.

Off the court, Parker bought a 20% stake in French basketball club ASVEL headquartered in Lyon, where he played for a year. He also became the majority owner of Lyon Basket, a female basketball club.
