Princess Charlene’s favourite designer, Giorgio Armani, honoured at the Winter Olympics
At the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics opening ceremony on 6 February 2026, late designer Giorgio Armani was honoured with an emotional tribute celebrating his legacy. Sixty models donned red, white, and green suits, forming the Italian flag and honouring his influence on Italian style, while model Vittoria Ceretti wore a custom Armani gown.
It’s no secret that Princess Charlene is a big fan of Armani. The Princess wore a white Armani suit on Monaco’s National Day in November, in memory of the Italian designer who passed away in September and who had designed her iconic wedding dress.

Charlotte Casiraghi celebrates 5th Anniversary of Chanel Ambassadorship
Charlotte Casiraghi is celebrating her 5th year of being an ambassador for Chanel. Her ambassadorship was first announced on 22 December 2020, with her official tenure beginning on 1 January 2021. Her first assignment? Embodying the Spring-Summer 2021 Ready-to-Wear campaign before collaborating with Virginie Viard on “Les Rendez-vous littéraires rue Cambon” project (Literary rendezvous at rue Cambon), a series of literary salons.
Charlotte Casiraghi’s long-standing relationship with Chanel dates back to her teenage years. She wears Chanel at almost every important event in her life: at the Cannes Film Festivals in 2022, 2023 and 2024, at the Rose Ball in Monaco in 2023, on Monaco’s National Day in 2025. Most recently, on 27 January 2026, Charlotte Casiraghi attended the first Haute Couture Spring/Summer collection designed by Matthieu Blazy, Chanel’s new artistic director, at the Grand Palais in Paris. There, she wore a close-fitting off-white Chanel dress adorned with flowers in a shade called “Cloud Dancer” (look No. 31) from the Chanel Spring/Summer 2026 collection. She completed the look with a pair of two-tone Chanel pumps
Charlotte Casiraghi responds to being called “Glossy-Magazine Princess” on Canal+
To promote the release of her new book “La Fêlure” (The Crack) Charlotte Casiraghi gave a 30-minute interview on the show “Clique” on Canal+ on 2 February 2026.
“This word ‘crack,’or what we hide and what surfaces, is the sensitive areas within us that we sometimes have trouble seeing and that sometimes reveal themselves without our knowledge,” said Casiraghi in the interview, “and I wanted to explore this through portraits of writers, female writers, poets, navigators, and singers.”
The interviewer then asked, “You often tell me you’re reduced to an image of a princess on glossy paper, to a life of privileges, summed up in a few snapshots taken at balls or fashion shows?” Casiraghi responded by saying, “These privileges exist, they are my opportunity, and I take no pride in them since I benefit from them without any merit. But everything that is important to me—my convictions, my personality—is almost never revealed by this image that clings to me. I think we’re all a little bit prisoners of an image, or at least how people perceive us in public, not exactly the same way we are in private…. I’ve had to justify why I’m interested in philosophy and literature, why I’ve devoted so much time to them. So when I release a book, sometimes it can seem like people are surprised. But those who know me know that I’ve carried this within me for a long time.”
