Monaco missed the chance to go six points clear at the top of Ligue 1 after being held by Bastia.
A point in Corsica. The Corsican side took the lead when Guinean Sadio Diallo beat goalkeeper Danijel Subasic from close range.
After being given a tough time in the first half by a valiant Corsican outfit, the Monegasques claimed a point in the second half to take a provisional four point lead over PSG at the top of the table. It was Bernardo Silva who netted the equalizer for the visitors, guiding home a fine finish from Almamy Touré’s pinpoint cross. The goal was not dissimilar to the effort against OM at the Vélodrome.
Leonardo Jardim’s men might even had snatched all three points with a host of good chances late on. Falcao (61 and 80 mins), and in particular Mbappe (84 and 87 mins) both missed the target or were thwarted by the impressive Leca. But Danijel Subasical sorescued the Red&Whites with a wonderful one-on-one save from Danic (48 mins).
Champions Paris St-Germain would move to within a point of the summit should they beat Toulouse on Sunday.
Monaco travel to face Manchester City in their Champions League last-16 first-leggame on Tuesday.
