Curtis James Jackson III, aka 50 Cent, superstar of the 2000s, had already visited the Rock to film his successful Window Shopper music video. No window shopping this time, but a succession of energetic East Coast hits. This concert was a huge celebration with 3500 club season ticket holders and Monegasques in attendance. As the crowd belted out “We Are the Champions”, club captain El Tigre lifted the trophy to an ovation from the fans! An ideal event which engraved a few more memories for Monaco, winner of League 1, 17 years after its last title… when they were in “Division 1”.
