Roca Team won over Châlons-Reims 81-72
Yestreday Roca team added the 20th victory to its record in the season. This time the Monegasque team won over Châlons-Reims 81-72.
The first quarter showed the leader right from the beginning of the match, Roca team won this quarter 31-20. The fierce start has been led by the exact drop of Yakuba Ouattara, Brandon Davies and Bang Fofana. But in the second quarter the team of Châlons-Reims menaced this leadership of the Roca Team when Nik Caner-Medley played intelligently against Zack Wight and stopped some of his remarkable drops. The second quarter Roca team lost to Châlons-Reims (13-19).
But the defeat in the second quarter meant nothing regarding the fact that the third one again was won by Roca team (22-19).
«We started this game correctly and managed to lead almost all the time during this meeting», – Yakuba Ouattara shared after the game. – «Châlons-Reims is a strong team and we put a lot of efforts to keep the winning track. At some point when it seemed that we are winning for sure, we diminish our activity and that was a main mistake, but it is purely human».
