When twilight arrived, Larvotto Beach never truly faded into darkness. Long before the first public lamps were planned, some of the beach’s restaurants and private venues ensured that evenings remained lively, terraces glowing, tables filled into the evening, and the low murmur of conversation drifting over the sand.
Our planet is a vivid blue when viewed from space because over 70 % of the Earth is covered with ocean. The ocean makes all life on our planet possible. It plays a vital role in our weather systems, provides food, helps us travel and generates tremendous amounts of energy.
