Exhibition “My Name is Nobody,” Boris de Schloezer: The Archives of a 20th-Century Thinker on the Arts

Exhibition “My Name is Nobody,” Boris de Schloezer: The Archives of a 20th-Century Thinker on the Arts is held from 6 November 2026 to 30 January 2027 in Caroline Media Library.
Discover the world of Boris de Schloezer—a French philosopher, translator, musicologist, and music critic of Russian origin, and a major figure in 20th-century intellectual life.
Drawing from nearly 3,000 documents held in the library’s heritage collection—bequeathed in 1997 by Marina Scriabine, daughter of composer Alexander Scriabin and niece of Boris de Schloezer—this exhibition reveals the richness of his life’s journey and his intellectual networks.
Designed for anyone with a curious mind and a passion for culture, history, and music, this exhibition offers an immersive look into the world of this fascinating figure.
The exhibition opening and the start of a symposium dedicated to Boris de Schloezer will take place on Friday, November 6, at 6:30 p.m. The program includes a lecture, a recital, and readings.
