Philosophical Workshop: “What is maternal love?” is organized by the Monaco Philosophical Meetings on Wednesday April 3, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in Princess Grace Hospital Center.
Maternal love is a love at the origin of the life of every human: it is the oldest relationship there is, a nurturing relationship, literally vital to the child who comes into the world. Without the care and feeding provided by the mother or the person in charge of the newborn, the baby will not be able to experience harmonious development. What is the nature of this first love? Is it instinct?
