“The Company of Ghosts” in Théâtre Princesse Grace

“The Company of Ghosts” (“La Compagnie des Spectres”) based on the novel by Lydie Salvayre with Zabou Breitman on Tuesday 20 March, at 8.30 pm in Théâtre Princesse Grace.

A mother and a daughter live recluse in a small apartment. The court marshal, charged to take the inventory of their belongings so that those of any value can be sold off to pay off their debts, will become the interlocutor, unintentionally, of these women haunted by the ghosts of the History.

The state of affairs is gradually changing into a terrible moment in time when this family went through a tragedy that left painful memories, perpetrated during the Occupation.
