Thursday Live Sessions – Pat Kalla & Le Super Mojo

Pat Kalla is a musician, singer and storyteller. Born in Lyon, from a Cameroonian father and a French mother, he explores from his childhood Soul, Slam, Funk … and the art of telling stories.

After years of touring with many bands (Conte & Soul, Legend of Eboa King, Mento Cloub, Voilaaa Sound System), he returns, accompanied by the “Super Mojo disco”, a hyperactive Lyonnais group where groove and positive are part of daily life, with this new show where he revisits styles sometimes little known to western audiences such as High-Life, the Makossa, the Angolan Music, Afrobeat, Afro-Disco and others. An anti-crisis society project where swinging and good humor are mandatory!
