You can start your day watching the Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series. To close the winter season, the J/70s will meet for the last time in Act IV of Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series from Thursday 7 to Sunday 10 March 2024, in Bay of Monaco.

The weekend will coincide with the 40th Primo Cup-Trophée UBS, which will bring together the Smeralda 888s and Longtze Premiers alongside the RS 21s and Cape 31s, not to mention the class synonymous with the event’s heyday, the Surprise. Launched in 1985 on the wishes of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, President of the Y.C.M., this regatta, with technical clothing supplied by Slam, has established itself as the biggest one-design meeting in the Mediterranean.

Concert by Véronique Sanson

Pierre de Maere, the Belgian revelation, is going to be on stage in Monaco on Saturday 9 March 2024, at 8 pm, in the Grimaldi Forum Monaco!

His startling ascent began in 2022 with the release of his first EP, “Regrets”. Riding on a wave of media and popular acclaim, his gold-selling single “Un jour je marierai un ange”, and standout concert performances in France and Belgium, Pierre de Maere continues to surprise.

If you like music then for you there is a Symphonic Concert of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Charles Dutoit, with Martha Argerich, piano, organized on Sunday 10 March 2024, at 6 pm in Auditorium Rainier III. Music by FAURÉ, BEETHOVEN, and STRAVINSKY.

Exhibition: “A Prince, a Museum”

Among many interesting exhibitions that are held in Monaco these days you can take a look at The Monaco Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology that celebrates the vision of the current museum’s founder, Prince Rainier III with the exhibition: “A Prince, a Museum” held from Friday 15 December 2023 to Friday 5 April 2024, from 9 am to 6 pm.

Step into the history of the creation of the second Museum – a site museum! – in the heart of the Exotic Garden, just a few yards from the Observatory Cave. Learn about the numerous archaeological digs carried out during the Prince’s reign, and the unprecedented donations made by the Prince and Princess Grace Kelly. Explore different spaces on a variety of themes, from promotion of the Monegasque language to the holiday camps planned by the Museum’s then Director, Louis Barral.

Of course there are other interesting events taking place in Monaco. If you want to learn more about them visit our Calendar.

So have fun and enjoy your weekend!
